The Story

De Martino Legado Carmenere comes from 28+ year-old vines at the Santa Inés vineyard in Isla de Maipo. Hand-harvested and vinified with ambient yeasts, it undergoes cold soak, fermentation, and extended maceration before aging in a mix of used French barrels and large foudres. The result is a vibrant, medium-bodied red with ripe fruit, peppery spice, and soft tannins—an elegant, site-driven expression of Carmenere from one of Chile’s most historic producers.
