The Character

Overall Clarity and tension of high-altitude volcanic terroir
Aromas Lemon zest, sea spray, wild herbs
Mouthfeel Crisp and precise
Tasting Notes Opens with bright aromas of lemon zest, white peach, and crushed rocks, underscored by hints of wild herbs and sea spray. The palate is crisp and precise, with vibrant acidity and a stony minerality that carries through a long, clean finish. A touch of lees aging adds subtle texture and depth without weighing down the wine’s natural freshness. Elegant, focused, and true to its Etna roots, this is a white wine that pairs energy with refinement.

The Story

The Carricante and Catarratto grapes harvested at 900 m above sea level and vinified with the cryomaceration technique best express the elegance of the southern slope of the volcano, creator of the minerality that distinguishes the terroir of Etna and the wines of our family.

Origin of the Name: Etna is full of volcanic caves and spectacular galleries. Grotta della Neve has been
used for a long time as an icehouse and today gives its name to our white wine Etna D.O.C. to restore the sense of the unique character of the territory and sense of a one-of-a-kind experience.
